Twenty years of practice, one thin bio page.

Dr. Verma is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a gold medal from West Bengal University of Health Sciences and fellowship training in joint replacement and sports medicine from institutes in New Delhi and at ENDO-Klinik Hamburg — a center that performs 6,000+ joint replacements a year. None of that reached a patient searching for a surgeon online.

A prospective patient choosing an orthopaedic surgeon is choosing who operates on their knee or hip. The site had to carry that weight: real credentials, clearly laid out, with a booking path that felt as low-friction as the decision is high-stakes.

Approach

Credentials as the hero, not the footnote.

Instead of a generic "About the doctor" paragraph, the qualifications get their own structured section — the MBBS and MS from Calcutta National Medical College, the gold medal, and the two fellowships in New Delhi and Hamburg — laid out as a clear training pathway a patient can follow and trust.

Six specialty areas (knee, hip and shoulder replacement, sports injury management, arthroscopic surgery, spine care, fracture management, osteoporosis treatment) are broken out individually so a patient can self-identify their need in seconds rather than reading a wall of general practice copy.

A booking form with no prepayment wall.

Built on Next.js with a straightforward appointment request form — name, mobile number, preferred date and time slot — matched to the clinic's actual Monday–Saturday morning hours at Sector 3, Salt Lake. No prepayment required, which removes the single biggest friction point in medical booking flows.

Tone stays clinical and evidence-based throughout, with an explicit informational-use disclaimer, so the site reads as trustworthy rather than promotional — appropriate for a specialist whose patients are making a medical decision, not an impulse purchase.
